Emma recently graduated from the University of Leeds with a BSc degree in Biomedical Science. She wishes to pursue Medicine as a career and with this in mind has gained ample experience working within the medical profession. Emma volunteered in Kenya over the summer of 2010, with the hope of broadening her knowledge of HIV/Aids and patient hospitalisation in a less developed country. While in Kenya she also carried out valuable research, on behalf of African Passions, on the correlation between lifestyle, education facilities, and HIV/Aids. She now dedicates much of her spare time to raising awareness and funds for African Passions.
